You've seen the massive boards and the silhouettes of riders as they approach the horizon, gliding along calm seas. Now, it is your turn to give it a go. Generally, paddle boarding is a more laid back experience. Perfect for appreciating the natural beauty of the Costa Rican coast lines and wonders within the ocean, all in an eco-friendly manner. Central Guanacaste offers an excellent venue for paddling with many bays that provide protected waters to learn and explore in.

Open Water Paddle
Tranquility on the water. No engines, no surf crowds; enjoy the ocean as it was intended. Depart from one of the more mellow-watered beaches of Brasilito, Flamingo or Potrero for a relaxing ocean experience. Begin with a brief land based instruction on the basics and safety of paddle boarding. Then, its time to step aboard your personal water vessel and test out your abilities. Once everyone is feeling comfortable, the tour will paddle out near sea cliffs and/or an offshore island to observe the magnificence that is Costa Rica. After you've taken it all in, return to the beach for fresh fruit and water.

Island Paddle Tour
All inclusive paddle excursion from either Brasilito, Flamingo or Potrero. All skill levels welcomed. Cover the basics and safety with a brief on land lesson. The adventure starts when you hit the water to test out your balance and agility while enjoying the sights of the natural surroundings. Your destination is an offshore island where you will take a break to enjoy some fresh fruit and water. Explore the beach and tide pools of the island; looking for remaining marine life. For those who would like the chance of more up-close encounters, guided snorkeling is included. Puffer fish, starfish and sting rays are known to hang around the rocks of the island. Afterwards, its back on your board to finish with a relaxing paddle back to the mainland.
